We're not just about plain coffee. We also make sophisticated drinks with espresso, steamed milk, and your choice from our impressive list of flavors. Want a macchiato? We have those (but make sure you really want one). Want a half-caf, half-soy latté with coconut, caramel, chocolate, toffee, and butterscotch in it? We can do that. We can even make you a warm chocolate frothy milk, hold the coffee.
For those unfamiliar with espresso based drinks, here is a quick glossary:
Espresso: Produced by forcing water at around 9 atmospheres through coffee grounds, espresso is approximately five times as concentrated as normal coffee. The unit of espresso is a shot; it's common to order espresso as a “single” or “double”, meaning one or two shots, respectively.
Macchiato: An espresso “marked” on top with a drop of frothed milk.
Capuccino: Made with espresso and steamed milk. A traditional capuccino is 1/3 espresso, 1/3 milk, and 1/3 froth.
Cafe Latte: Also made with espresso and steamed milk, but contains 1/3 espresso, 2/3 milk, and just a bit of froth on top.
Mocha: As a noun, a mocha is a coffee drink, most commonly a cafe latte, with chocolate added. Mocha can also be applied as an adjective to any other coffee drink to indicate the addition of chocolate. Do not confuse with the Moka Pot, a method of stovetop coffee preparation, or Mocha, Yemen, a historically significant source of coffee beans.
